I'm James — a Senior Product Designer with 7+ years' experience across payments, fintech, marketplaces and ticketing. Currently I'm at Primer, building unified payments infrastructure, where I'm working on our AI Companion.

Previously at Resident Advisor, the world's largest electronic music platform, and Soldo, designing complex B2B spend and AP software. I started my career at Ten4, a digital agency specialising in accessibility, donations, ticketing and government.

I've learned that to move fast and maintain quality at scale, you need strong systems. That's where I do my best work — sitting between design and engineering, bringing together strategy, data, visual craft and systems thinking to help teams ship the right thing quickly.
